Not all “Bachelor” or “Bachelorette” proposals end in marriage. But these couples thwarted all odds and found their partner on reality TV … even if some of their marriages did not last.
We’ve rounded up some of our favorite wedding dresses from the franchise, whether ABC broadcast their nuptials for the world to see or we’ve heard about them via Instagram.

Sean Lowe remains the only “Bachelor” frontman to marry his winner, Catherine Giudici – she wore a Monique Lhuillier dress to get married on TV
Their wedding was broadcast live on January 26, 2014. For her big day, Giudici wore this Monique Lhuillier fitted and flared strapless dress covered in delicate lace. She also wore a matching veil.
Lowe and Giuidici are still married today and they share three children: Samuel, Isaiah and Mia.
Ashley Iaconetti wore two different dresses when she married Jared Haibon – and we love the dreamy ball gown she wore to the ceremony
Iaconetti, who met her husband during “Bachelor in Paradise”, described her first dress to People as an “extremely classic princess ball gown.” The dress was designed by Ines Di Santo and her wedding was photographed by Banga Studios.
Iaconetti and Haibon, who are now expecting their first child, tied the knot in August 2019 in Haibon’s home state of Rhode Island.
Trista Rehn wore this simple satin dress with an embroidered trim for her December 2003 wedding to Ryan Sutter
It was actually the very first “Bachelor” marriage, as Rehn was the first star of “The Bachelorette,” and none of the previous “Bachelor” had found their mate on the show.
The ceremony was broadcast on a three-part special called “Trista and Ryan’s Wedding”. For the ceremony, Rehn wore this strapless dress designed by Badgley Mischka.
Bachelor Nation’s first married couple are still together in 2021, with two children, Maxwell and Blakesley.
Lauren Burnham’s wedding dress hid her growing baby bump
Burnham and her husband Arie Luyendyk announced her pregnancy in November 2018 – two months later they tied the knot in Hawaii while Burnham wore a dress embellished with beaded flowers all over the bodice. They had met during Luyendyk’s “The Bachelor” season, although he didn’t choose Burnham at first.
“Lauren’s dress was created in a very romantic and imaginative place,” designer Hayley Paige told Us Weekly. “The overall look was a real collaboration as she picked some of her favorite items from my last collection.”
Their wedding was photographed by Matias Ezcurra.
Burnham and Luyendyk welcomed twins Lux and Senna in June. They also have Alessi, 2 years old.
Molly Malaney chose this spectacular fit and flare dress that appears to be made of white roses for her wedding to Jason Mesnick
Much like Luyendyk and Burnham, Mesnick and Malaney had a tough way down the aisle after Mesnick proposed to someone else – but in the end it turned out well. Mesnick and Malaney’s wedding took place in February 2010 and then aired on ABC in March.
Malaney’s romantic dress was designed by Monique Lhuillier and cost $ 45,000.
They are still married today. In addition to Mesnick’s son from a previous marriage, Malaney and Mesnick have a daughter, Riley.
Raven Gates also had two dresses, and you can see both here – they’re just as gorgeous.
Gates, who met Adam Gottschalk on “Bachelor in Paradise,” chose two beautiful dresses for her big day in April 2021. The first dress, designed by Watters, is a fit and flare style covered in lace and floral embroidery.
Her second, a strapless dress, is also by Watters, and she looks straight out of a movie with her layers of tulle.
The happy couple are currently expecting their first child together. Their wedding was photographed by Charla Storey.
Ashley Hebert chose a simple dress with a dramatic train for her December 2012 nuptials with JP Rosenbaum
Hebert and Rosenbaum met during their season of “The Bachelorette,” and they were only the second “Bachelorette” couple to marry after Trista Rehn. Their wedding aired on ABC later in the month.
Hebert’s silk and satin dress was created by show favorite Randi Rahm, and it featured a huge train and backless design.
Hebert and Rosenbaum announced their separation in October 2020, making them the first “Bachelor” couple to divorce … but not the last. They share the children Fordham and Essex.
Rachel Lindsay wore this one-of-a-kind dress with a layered tulle skirt and crystal-covered top to her wedding in August 2019 to Bryan Abasolo.
Lindsay, who picked Abasolo at the end of her season of “The Bachelorette,” also wore Randi Rahm on her big day. for her summer wedding. In her own words, the look is “classic, chic,” according to Glamor.
The wedding was photographed by Clane Gessel.
The two are still married.
Jade Roper rocked this bodycon dress at her wedding in January 2016
Roper married Tanner Tolbert in January 2016, just months after they met on “Bachelor in Paradise”. Their wedding aired on ABC the following month.
She walked down the aisle wearing a custom Galia Lahav dress that matched her husband’s specifications. “My only requirement was not to wear sleeves,” Tolbert told People. “She was beautiful. It was a mixture of elegance and sensuality.”
Today, the two are still married and have three children: Emerson, Brooks and Reed.
Desiree Hartsock is a wedding dress designer, so the pressure was on for her dress – and she delivered
Hartsock, seen here with her mother, married her season’s winner of “The Bachelorette”, Chris Siegfried, in January 2015. Her wedding was photographed by Brandon Kidd Photography.
Fittingly, she co-designed the ivory lace fit and flare dress with Maggie Sottero. The one-shoulder design added something a little bit special.
Siegfried and Hartsock are married and have two children, Asher and Zander.
For her “Paradise” wedding, Carly Waddell chose a fitted and flared beige dress with white lace details.
A year after Waddell met Evan Bass on the beach in Mexico, they returned to “Paradise” to get married in June 2017. Waddell’s unique dress was perfect for a beach wedding, with floral embellishments all over it. It was designed by Idan Cohen.
Three years and two children later, the two announced their separation in December 2020.
