But by the end of the day, she was out with not one but two dresses, which she had personalized and put together to create her perfect bespoke dress.
Hannah said: âI only came here to try on different styles so that I could get an idea of ââwhat kind of dress I would like; I didn’t expect to find anything right away, let alone two dresses.
âOriginally, I had a completely different style in mind. I live in London so my plan was to make an appointment at stores in London once I knew what I was looking for. I was visiting family in Leyland when my sister-in-law told me about the St Catherine wedding dress store, and I fell in love with two dresses for different reasons.
âI absolutely loved the fit and style of the top on one, and the fabric, detailing and princess-style skirt on the other.
âI knew I wouldn’t be back in Lancashire for a while, so I decided to buy them both to give myself more time to decide. It was £ 300 for both. After telling my sister that I couldn’t choose, she suggested that I sew them together, and I ended up with my perfect and unique dress.
She added: âThe lady who worked in the store was so lovely and very helpful and even told me where the dresses I had chosen were from which was amazing. There was a lot of choice; would definitely recommend to anyone else There are fantastic quality choices at really affordable prices, and all to support the hospice. â
