Lady Kitty Spencer and Michael lewis‘s amazing wedding at Villa Aldobrandini in Rome – or its six equally gorgeous bridal looks of Dolce & Gabbana!
Since the wedding of July 25, the newlywed has shared a few backstage stuffof her wedding weekend. In a recent interview, Kitty gave more information on the planning steps for her Italian wedding and her tailored dresses.
Lady Kitty started the conversation about her unforgettable wedding by opening up about the collaboration between herself and fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, as well as the highly skilled craftsmen who turned their vision into reality.
“The whole process was really a wonderful prelude to the [wedding] weekend, which was obviously one of the most wonderful days of my life, and having this preparation was just amazing, ”explained
princess dianais the niece of Olga Iserlis during a virtual interview as part of the latter’s Conversations with Olga series.
Kitty remembered how she came to Milan to where she was for the interview to meet Stefano and Domenico to see their sketches and ideas for the wedding looks.
“They did a terrific job creating something that suited me, but also represented me,” commented Global Brand Ambassador Dolce & Gabbana of her multiple wedding outfits.
This included his love of Italy and Italian craftsmanship, as well as his pride in his British heritage.
“They found a way to bring the two together in a way that’s really beautiful to look at and be a part of.”
When it came time to see her wedding dress in person, Kitty revealed that she got to experience the big time with her mom,
Victoria Aitken, and one of his brothers.
“Just to see the experience through their eyes too,” the model said. “It was my brother’s first time in Milan, and the first time I saw a brother or sister in a wedding dress, and it was truly an emotional day for all of us that I think we will never forget .
“I was crying. They were crying. The creators were crying so there were a lot of tears of joy,” Kitty said of the wedding preparations.
The newlyweds shared fascinating facts about the craftsmanship, “precision” and “attention to detail” in bridal looks, including the blue “Cinderella” dress with flowers she wore on the first night. Stitching and floral details checked until the very last minute, Kitty entered the elevator!
Likewise, the pink sapphire necklace she wore with the dress took eight years to make. The model pointed out that she hadn’t even met her husband Michael when the necklace started to take shape!
The wedding dresses took six months to be made by a team of extremely skilled craftsmen.

In the fascinating conversation, Kitty also opened up about where her wedding looks are. She revealed that she wasn’t sure exactly where they were all located, but assumed they were in the Dolce & Gabbana archives in the building she had chatted in.

Lady Élisa and Lady Amélie.
