It’s not often that fans wait for a newsletter to hit their inbox, but Jennifer Lopez had her subscribers on pins and needles for three days waiting for the On the JLo arrival – and it did not disappoint. His email and vogue offered an insider’s look at not one, but three custom-designed wedding dresses from the Ralph Lauren Collection.
Lopez usually writes a more personalized note to her fans, but this time she kept it simple. “The dresses were dreamy.. thank you Ralph Lauren,” she wrote. “I’ll be sharing some more photos and some delicious details about our big day coming up very soon on The JLo…” The real tea was the included sketches and photos of her big day marrying Ben Affleck for the second time. The vogue article (See official photos HERE.) shared the specific details of the dresses the newsletter just alluded to. The first dress had “over 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 yards of fabric was cut into ruffles” – after years of watching Project trackwe know it was an expensive dress to create.
At the reception, the “Jenny From the Block” singer had two other equally stunning wardrobe changes. One featured “a mermaid silhouette and keyhole neckline embellished with Swarovski crystals,” while the other had gorgeous “cascading pearl chains” — Lopez didn’t have a single lack of fashion in any models. vogue also noted that Lauren designed Affleck’s tuxedo and their five children’s outfits.
The marriage had been in the making for 19 years after their nuptials were called off in 2003, and finally called it quits in 2004. Affleck’s controversial, but sentimental for them, estate in Georgia was the backdrop for the Bennifer 2.0 ceremony with celebrity friends like Matt Damon and Kevin. Smith makes the trip south. It feels like a dream come true for the Lopez-Afflecks, finally having their private ceremony in Las Vegas and a big party with their friends and family surrounding them with love.
