Reddit founder Alexis posed the question to Serena with a large, oval-cut center stone flanked by two smaller, half-circle stones, which the Engagement Ring Bible says were worth around $2 million (1 £.4 million).
They tied the knot on Nov. 16, 2017, at a lavish Disney-themed Beauty and the Beast celebration in New Orleans. Olympic star Serena wore a cape ballgown-style wedding dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to say “I do,” but she also had two other bridal outfits from Versace.

Talking about her first dress, Serena said Vogue United States: “I flew to London to meet Sarah and ended up falling in love with the prom dress silhouette, which is the complete opposite of what I would have ever thought I would choose for myself. J loved the idea of making a really spectacular prom dress, and it turned out to be an incredibly special piece.”

The bride then changed into a bead and feather gown which, according to Donatella Versace, took five embroiderers “worked nonstop to do” over “1,500 hours”.
Finally, Serena donned a mini dress from the designer, complete with a feathered skirt for her first dance on Tale as Old as Time. And although an unearthed clip of the newlyweds on the dance floor shows Serena pairing her dress with sparkly heels, she reportedly prioritized comfort in the evening and opted for some bejeweled Nike trainers!
